a little bit of our weekend...

Hello- hope everyone had a nice weekend. We had a fun one, did the usual walking, eating etc... Scott and I also had a date Saturday day and rode bikes and had lunch down on the wharf. Sunday we took Eli to 'Happy Hollow Park' up in San Jose. Eli very much enjoyed the petting zoo and thought it was hilarious when the goats and miniature horses would kiss his hands. :) The rest of the park has some small rides and other small zoo animals, but Eli is still too young to appreciate those, but nonetheless we had a good time!

p.s. Eli can now say 'cat.' Hahaha, go figure his first 'real' word would be cat!

my birthday weekend...

Hello friends,

Hope everyone had a great weekend, we did! It was my 32nd birthday on Sunday the 7th and so we just hung out mostly and did relaxing stuff with Eli, like eat pizza and go for walks. But, Scott and I also had a date Saturday night and we went to our favorite crazy Italian place 'Cafe Lucio' (formerly 'Al Dente' for you Santa Cruz peeps,) and then afterwards we went to the boardwalk and rode a roller coaster and did the bumper cars, it was SO much fun! I felt old and young all in one, HA! I'm pretty sure the roller coaster almost gave me whip-lash...and I screamed at the top of my lungs the entire time, mostly to frighten the children in line, hahahaha, just kidding!

Sunday was mellow and we had a little brunch at our favorite French Bakery 'Kelly's' and then after that I had some leisurely time to myself and shopped, mostly trying to find shoes for my sisters wedding. It was a great birthday and I feel relaxed and settled into my 32 years of age. Thanks again for all the birthday love, here's a pic of me and E at brunch, not the best picture but Eli looks funny eating his strawberries. :)

We drove up to the cute little beach town Davenport (which is 10miles north of Santa Cruz) on Sunday for a little outside/beach time, it was quite lovely.

Hi guys,

Hope everyone had a nice weekend. It was beautiful here in Denver and so we tried to be outside as much as possible. Saturday morning we went to breakfast and after-wards walked around Cheesman Park. Once Eli woke from his nap in the stroller we took him over to the play-ground. He especially loved his first ride in a swing.

Hi again, hope everyone had a nice weekend, we did! We didn't do much of anything at all, just hung out at home and fixed some stuff around the house. I apologize for the lack of posts last week, I'm not sure what happened there...

a little bit of our weekend...

Hello!

Did you all have a nice weekend? We did, it was busier than usual. Friday night I went out with some girlfriends for my dear friend Kristy(s) 32nd b-day. It was good food, good company and lots of fun! Then on Saturday we had a quiet morning and then that afternoon Scott and I dropped Eli off with my mom and we went to lunch and had fun shopping the aisles of 'Michaels Craft Store' and buying Eli art supplies. Hahaha, more on that later...  Then Sunday we met grandma and grandpa for lunch in Cherry Creek and did a quick trip to the mall, and of course that night I watched the Oscars. I was disappointed. I felt the hosting was lack-luster and the show and presenters/acceptance speeches very odd! What did you think?

Hello again,

Hope you all had a nice weekend. We did for the most part, Scott got home from his work trip Saturday afternoon and it was great to have him home. But on Sunday and Monday Eli napped terrible which was hard for everyone, then he slept terrible last-night, so not really sure what's going on... Usually he is an excellent napper and has also been sleeping great through the night the past few weeks, so we think either a developmental milestone is coming on (we're seeing lots of creeping going on) or a growth spurt, or a tooth... but I've been saying that for months and still nothing! Ha! Any thoughts from you moms out there?

However, we did have some fun. Eli wore his Puma jumpsuit from Auntie Jenessa (my dear friend) for the first time, and loved it might I add. 

                     (the shoes in the back too are from Jenessa, Eli wouldn't sit still to put them on. :)

Hope everyone had a lovely weekend. We had a quiet one, stayed home mostly and made some good food, got frozen yogurt... Although on Sunday we did venture out and take Eli to see his Great Grandma Collins. I also met up with a girlfriend Sunday evening to see 'Blue Valentine.' Wow, it was very good and so well acted, but so real and intense. Have you seen it?
